Role Overview

Summary of Job: We are expanding our footprint in Texas! NorthStar is hiring anesthesiologists to join our newest partner, DeTar Healthcare, in Victoria, TX. This position offers the ability to work in both independent and supervisory roles. Full benefits & CME + malpractice paid.

This is an opportunity to work in a collegial environment with engaged & dynamic leadership at local, regional and national levels. 

Cases include: general, urology, ortho, OB/GYN, endo, podiatry, ENT & major vascular. (Cardiac trained MDs will cover all cardiac cases): 
 
Compensation: $500,000-$550,000 
Quality Metrics: $25,000 
Cardiac Stipend: $60,000
PTO: 8 Weeks
Sign-On Bonus: $150,000

Facility Description: The physicians, staff andvolunteers of the DeTar Healthcare System pride themselves on caring for our community. The father and son physician team of William and Webb T. DeTar opened the area’s first hospital, Valley View Hospital, in a two-story, white wood framed, colonial style home on the corner of Navarro and San Antonio streets in 1924. Since then, the DeTar “family,” as we call it, has grown to a team of 1,200 staff members, 179 physicians and more than 60 volunteers who dedicate themselves to keeping the community healthy.
